"Mark and Eva continue to be friends and are both focusing on their careers," his rep told E!.
An E! source said the breakup was not messy.

"Eva and Mark split amicably and remain friends," a source said. "There is no drama."
According to Us Weekly, their busy careers and social lives are to blame.
"They just have completely different schedules and lifestyles," another source told the mag. "He likes to go out and have fun... She's more focused on her career and her philanthropic work."

Back in September, when word spread the pair was dating, a source close to the football star told Access Hollywood that Mark was head over heels for Eva.
"He is really in love with her and serious about her," the source told Access at the time.

Prior to dating the football star, Eva was involved with Eduardo Cruz (Penelope Cruz's brother) for more than year following her January 2011 split from ex-husband/NBA star Tony Parker.
Mark has previously been linked to Jamie-Lynn Sigler, model Kate Upton and Hayden Panettiere.
